Wan Hai Lines has announced a new direct service to the Port of Los Angeles in collaboration with Ocean Network Express (ONE), a member of the Premier Alliance. The AP2 service is scheduled to commence in May 2026.
The AP2 port rotation will include Qingdao – Ningbo – Los Angeles – Oakland – Qingdao. Under the current network structure, this route will offer fast and direct connections from Central and Northern China to the West Coast of North America.
In a related development, Premier Alliance partners ONE, HMM, and Yang Ming also unveiled updates to their 2026 service network on December 15.
Within the updated 2026 network, this service will be designated as PS8 (Pacific South 8) and is expected to begin operations in April 2026.
